Phase 1 - Access Arrangements

Access Arrangements A pre-examination arrangement on behalf of a candidate with special educational needs. These arrangements allow candidates with substantial and long-term disabilities access to the examinations. They must be made before the examination takes place.

There are three different groups of access arrangements, each with their own form and set of deadlines

• Non-delegated (The Centre must apply for permission to use these)
• Centre delegated (Centres must apply for permission if they plan to use these)
• Modified papers (Centres must request these)
